DISC personality test

A four animal DISC test for small teams. Everyone answers the same twenty questions, gets their own work style profile, and a manager can turn the whole set into one team culture report.

What it is

A shared vocabulary for how people work

DISC sorts working style into four tendencies (direct, expressive, steady, precise) and gives each one an animal so it is easy to remember and easy to talk about without sounding clinical. It is not a personality label and it does not measure ability. It describes how someone prefers to work, so a team can stop guessing about each other.

Workflow

How it works

  1. You get an account

Accounts are created by invitation. You receive an email address and password for the tools workspace and sign in there.

  2. Answer twenty questions

Each question offers four statements and you pick the one that sounds most like you at work. It takes about four minutes, and it cannot be paused halfway on purpose, because a considered answer is usually a less honest one.

  3. Read your own profile

You immediately see your four scores, the animal you lean towards, and a written read on what you are likely to be good at and what tends to drain you.

  4. A manager combines the team

Once enough people on a team have finished, a manager can generate one report that shows the balance of the group and where friction is most likely to show up.

Output

What you get

Your score bars

Four bars, one per tendency, so you can see whether you lean hard one way or sit close to the middle.

A written profile

Plain language notes on your strengths, your blind spots, and the conditions where you do your best work.

A team culture report

For managers: the shape of the whole team, the tendency you are missing, and the friction to expect.
