Task management

A personal work tracker built around one hierarchy (workspace, folder, project, task, sub-task) and six views of the same tasks: board, list, backlog, calendar, gantt, and dashboard.

What it is

One place for everything you owe someone

Most task apps make you pick a shape up front: a board if you think in columns, a list if you think in rows, a calendar if you think in dates. This one keeps a single set of tasks and lets you look at them however the question of the moment needs. The same task is a card on the board, a row in the list, a bar on the timeline, and a chip on the calendar. Work is grouped into workspaces, optional folders, and projects, so a side project and a client job never bleed into each other. It is built for one person keeping their own commitments straight, not for a team assigning work to each other.

Workflow

How it works

  1. Set up a workspace, then projects inside it

A workspace is a whole area of your life or work. Inside it you make projects, and if a workspace grows you can group those projects into folders. Tags live at the workspace level, so every project in the same workspace shares one vocabulary.

  2. Capture tasks the fast way

Type a title at the bottom of any list group or board column and press enter. The field stays open for the next one, so a brain dump is one uninterrupted burst of typing. Details like dates, priority, tags, and a description can wait until later.

  3. Plan in the backlog, work on the board

Anything you are not committing to yet goes to the backlog, where it stays out of your daily view. When you are ready, move one item or a whole selection onto the board, and it lands in the status column you choose.

  4. Break work down without losing it

Any task can hold sub-tasks, and a sub-task is a real task with its own dates, status, and progress. You choose whether sub-tasks nest under their parent, hide, or stand on their own as separate rows and cards.

  5. Switch views instead of switching apps

The same tasks are a drag and drop board, an editable table, a month or week calendar, and a gantt timeline you can drag to reschedule. Filters and sorting carry across, and the view you left is remembered when you come back.

  6. Let the repeat rule handle routine work

Set a task to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. The moment you mark it done, the next one appears with its dates already moved forward, so a recurring chore never needs to be retyped.

Output

What you get

Six views of one set of tasks

Board, list, backlog, calendar, gantt, and dashboard. Nothing is duplicated between them, so nothing can drift out of sync.

A daily digest in one click

The bell shows what is overdue and what is due today across every project, from any page. Click an item to open it straight away.

A home page that starts your day

Recently opened work, plus today, overdue, next up, and unscheduled tasks grouped for you. You can tick things done without leaving the page.

Numbers that agree with each other

Open, overdue, due this week, and completed this week, counted the same way on every dashboard from a single project up to your whole account.

Deletes you can take back

Deleting anything gives you a few seconds to undo it, even after you have moved to another page. Nothing leaves the database until that window closes.

Your private data

Everything is scoped to your account at the database level, so the tool only ever shows you your own workspaces.
